hello, i will keep it simple can you run an exe or converted exe on linux.
long story: (if you have the time) I am creating a compalation (bunch) of old classic games and i want to load them on to a small cheap linux computer with an os similar to an xbox. i know it sounds crazy but not quite like an xbox. just a simple window that alows you to select wich game you want to play. but i don't know that much about linux. i'm a windows programmer. i have lisences on 1 or 2 clasic games and then the rest are abandon ware games. I have until christmas to make this work so i would apreciate the help.
thanks

So do you want the distro to be a Linux distro or an XBOX-like distro? I guess I dont understand that part much. Anyways, to get an exe to work on Linux you'll need something like Wine. It won't support all applications, but should work for many. Here ya go: http://www.winehq.com/ .
