Can't control audio vol. in KDE using Kmix
I am using FC5 and in KDE, I installed many players like rhythymbox, mplayer,real player,amarok,xine,xmms...but from the begening what I found was that my audio volume couldnot controlled by Kmix...is all my softwares creating any problem...? or may it is due to any other reason...plz help..thanx in advance

Be sure that kmix is set to control the right thing (ALSA mixer, OSS mixer, etc) and card ... I had the same problem and fixed looking a bit more depth in the options
