What's wrong with Gaim and msn?
Whenever I logon msn through gaim, just as I have logged on and saw the main windows and my buddy list, the main window disappeared in a sudden without even an alarm.
but if I logon gtalk and icq through gaim , everything works perfect.
my os is fc5, newly installed, and the gaim version is the default version of the system, gaim-1.5.0-15.fc5.1
have you ever meet this problem?

My friend is actually having this same problem on FC5. He accidently blocked be, and ever since, he has not been able to long onto MSN without gaim crashing. I could not figure out what may have caused it, so I told him to report it to the GAIM developers.

hi Craige !!!
actually programs that use encryption under windows uses the Microsoft CryptoAPI, which is not loaded correctly by Gaim's MSN protocol, so if the app allows the option to bypass security then it would run fine, else crashes.

Thank you for your help!
at first, I can't install amsn because of package dependence, at last, I resolve it through yum.
thank you any more!
