'outbound audio' was used becaused I need to find one for gstreamer OR alsa.

All I really want is an equaliser to filter the sound output coming from my core audio app, quodlibet. I have read on the net that ql uses the gstreamer backend, and there is a plugin for gstreamer called 'gst-plugin-equalizer' that sounds like it would do the job.

But that package is only a source package. I am wondering if there is actually an EQ for (in a way specifically ubuntu, but I also use QL on Gentoo) Linux that is readily available in "most" repositories, and preferably is a gui app.
