You're looking for SuperKaramba. Themes for it can be found at http://www.kde-look.org. It can do a number of crazy things, and one that you may be looking for is:

TuxBar through SuperKaramba is great - thanks for the suggestion.
How do I customize it? I can't find out how to change which pic executes which app.10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux

I've never used Superkaramba myself, so I don't actually know. Maybe try and find some sort of configuration file somewhere? Could be somewhere in your home, or possibly in /etc or /usr/share/tuxbar or something like that. I honestly don't know.

Well I first had to install the app SuperKaramba. Then I had to download the TuxBar tarball. I extracted the tarball and I can run the extracted .theme file through SuperKaramba.
The files I extracted are:
pics (folder)
README (text)
tuxbar.py
tuxbar.py~
tuxbar.pyc
tuxbar.theme
I can open the tuxbar.py in a text editor and edit the code for the pictures etc. But I don't know how to open the others, and I don't know how to change the code? For example change one of the icons from opening Kphoto to Lphoto.10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux

Try KXDocker (http://linuxappfinder.com/package/kxdocker).
- 08-19-2006 #7KXDocker is GREAT. Works perfectly and is easily configurable. Much thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry. I missed your question previously. Unfortunately I don't have experience using the app. Linux Magazine did an article (pdf) once. It's been a while since I read it so it may not help your situation, but it's worth a read.
