Nagios Monitoring installation
Hi all, just wondering if anyone here would have any ideas.
We are trying to install Nagios on SUSE 10.1. We have tried installing on a number of different architectures, and with Nagios distributions 2.4, 2.5, and the 2.x.cvs.
On all machines that we have tried we get through the ./configure, 'make', 'make all', and when we attempt to run the 'make install' it will lock up and freeze somewhere around line 3300 and some.
On the configure, it recognizes the C Compiler and the GD Libraries (both dependencies) and everything else checks out. We are wondering though if it could still be an issue with the C Compiler?
Anyone have another angle we aren't thinking of?
TIA!

There are RPMs available from SUSE and Nagios for version 2.5. Have you tried those?
