Is there any 3d skething apps I can install for linux. Something like google sketchup perhaps. I use Kubuntu Dapper 6.06lts any help would be appreciated....

    I have a list of some 3D Modeling apps on Linux App Finder. I don't know how similar any of them are to Google Sketch-up though. It's also possible a CAD app might have what you need.

    Given Google's recent releases of Picasa and Google Earth for Linux, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a version of SketchUp in the works as well. If you don't find another program that you like you could try running SketchUp using Wine. The Wine AppDB does have a post stating that someone got version 4 to run on Ubuntu Breezy.
