My experience with the flashplugin is that it's buggy, crashed Mozilla Firebird (predecessor of Mozilla Firefox) every now and then when loading flash animations. Now I've upgraded to firefox and installed a plugin that makes sure that flash animations doesn't start with out my will (I can dig up the plugin name/link if thta would be of interest to you).

jasonlambert, sorry but I'm still quite new to linux and haven't a clue how to run from command line...
I'm not that interested in having Flash on my linux system yet (just trying to see if I could manage to install it), is there a way of removing the plug-in to get Mozilla working again..?
Where can I get Firefox from..?
and how do I install it..?
