    Has anyone used this program?

    It is a modular sound synthesis program. I am having trouble getting sound. I have followed the tutorial from the handbook they offer but nothing...

    Not sure if it's related but I can't get sound from my CD-ROM either.
    I can only play music if I rip it to the HD and play as a ogg file

    However, if anyone has any experience at all with this program I would love to know how you got sound.

    Well KDE uses Arts, so many people should be using this. Anyway, I always have all kinds of problems with Arts and I really suggest you switch to ALSA.

    It's the program that I want to use. Not necissarily the sound server. It is a modular synthesis program for music....it's the only one that I could find that does pretty much everything I need it to do.
