Getting Banshee to Sync with my Ipod

How can I get Banshee to sync my ipod on Ubuntu? I installed Banshee and got AAC support but I can't find my ipod when I click to import files.

P.S. How do I get Banshee to recognize cds so I can import them. The site says that the sds should abear in the collum under my library symbol but it doesn't do that on my computer.

I don't use Banshee personally, but there shouldn't be anything special that you have to do. Here is an article on Gnome Journal that shows how to access an iPod with Banshee.
