How to get LimeWire working?
Hello, I am running ubuntu 6.10 and just installed limewire through 'dpkg' after convering it from an 'rpm' using Alien. Now when I run the limewire through the terminal it gives me the following error message

Just use "frostwire" instead. It's the same but with a cooler name :

Hmm, this is interesting. I got the exact same error for FrostWire.

- 10-26-2006 #5So did you install java ? The only important thing is to make sure your /etc/apt/sources.list file is rightly setup. If not, it will always be in the way, no matter what you try to install.

Personnaly I use mostly torrents (with Azureus).

I will. But I also really want to get LimeWire/FrostWire working. This error is driving me nuts. Any ideas on how to fix it?

You're on ubuntu? Try installing Frostwire through Automatix.

That will solve my error problem? Where do you get it from then, I tryed to apt-get it but with no luck.
