    Two Questions

    Hello All

    I have two questions. I am running Suse8.1, and Apache was installed by default. When I try to run it, I get:

    httpd cannot be started

    I am trying to run it as root.


    Also, how do you upgrade software? I am trying to upgrade Mozilla to version 1.3. I can install it, but the old version still exists. Can anybody help me? Mozilla1.01 was installed by default.

    You might be able to find out why httpd doesn't start in the error log (/var/log/httpd/error_log).

    you may want to run:

    ./httpd configtest

    you can always just reinstall apache from source (apache.org)
