I'm new to the world of repositories.I wanted to install mplayer by subversion because the process looked short.Anyway I went to http://subversion.tigris.org/servlet...ewsItemID=1685
and could not figure out what to download.I mean,do I have to download the signatures and checksums and if so what will be the combination?And if I install subversion,do I need to install Yum?Again,apt is supposed to be a repository for distros derived from Debian.So how come the dag site says this?
My distro is Red Hat 9.0
