Recommended free firewalls

I am new to linux and all, been used to Windows for years. Anyway, I just now have got my internet connection going in Linux and now I am looking for a good free firewall I can download for linux. Does someone have any good recommendations?

I agree with Heema, guarddog is easy to use and set up.
