There should be one already included: g++. If it's not already installed, there are usually easy ways to get it on there. Which distribution are you using?

I'm a newb, where would I find it?

SuSE 10.1 doesn't install G++ by default (if I remember correctly) but you should be able to install it from your install CD/DVD. Open up YaST and go to "Add/Remove Software". There should be a search box in the top left. Type in "g++" and search. Then check the boxes next to the results you want and hit Install.

I can't seem to find the add/remove software. Where else would I be able to download the program?
- 11-16-2006 #6Trust me, you'd rather install it using YaST. What do you see when you start up Yast? Is there a "Software" section?
