    Question Configuration export/import


    How can I copy a configuration of various software from previous linux installation? Most important are Evolution and Gaim (with my history and e-mail), they aren't only ones.
    If it matters, I was using ASPLinux 11 and just installed Ubuntu 6.10.

    I'm not sure about mail but you can copy the "dot*" folders from your home folder to your new distro.

    for example
    ~/.gaim
