Does anyone know of Linux drivers for a Vitesse 8201 LAN chip and Realtek ALC 880 onboard sound drivers.

Vitesse vsc8601 (and vsc8201) like on nVidia mcp 430 (4xx) southbridge (msi)
folks who prefer to stay GPL/OpenSource, etc, will prefer
1) the GPL driver for these Gigabit Ethernet (gLAN) interfaces. You may need to update your kernel (not for the faint of heart) to get the GPL code to work (well). The GPL community driver is called:
_forcedeth_
2) If you don't mind using proprietary code from nVidia (and that your system would then be >>tainted<< with non-GPL or non-BSD licensed code) ... nvidia provides a driver named:
_nvnet_
as per RedHat B.J.Smith ...
