    korean typing program

    Ok so I need a program that will allow me to type in korean with my US keyborad. I know they're out there I;ve seen my friend use on for windows.

    Perhaps you can ask the guys at, the greatest Open Source and Linux related Korean site I know.

    Or maybe someone here knows the answer. Are you on Suse 10.1 ? With KDE ?

    Yes I'm using SUSE 10.1 with KDE 3.5.1

    in terminal execute this
    setxkbmap kr
    to make it permament, Control Center -- Regional & Accessibility -- KeyBoard Layout
    'Enable Keyboard Layouts' and select Korean from layout list.

    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    I tryed to us the command but I get an error. So I tryed the contol panel one and now I have a flag on my task bar I can click to change from englsh to korean. but when I change to korean I still type in english.
