    application to fix off-sync avi files?


    Was wondering if anyone could recommend an app to repair avi files (divx, etc), where the audio and video are off-sync in certain or all parts?

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    I don't know of an app that will automatically do this, but any video editor that can break out audio tracks should work. Just shift the audio track on the timeline until it matches up.

    I spent several days trying to solve this problem. Anytime I would convert from DivX to MPEG, the audio and video would be out of sync. I started using ffmpeg though, and all my sync problems were solved.
