    codecs for MPlayer


    hi,i wanna play some .mp3 , .avi , .mpg files with MPlayer,but i don't have any codecs.how can i get them?

    You probably need a package called w32codecs, or something similar.

    If you can't find it, the codecs files are here, in .tar.bz2 format :
    http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/rel...061022.tar.bz2

    Just extract them in /usr/lib/win32/ (for compatibility with older programs) and in /usr/lib/codecs/
