    Smile Help Needed Urgent Regarding to Java

    Hi Linux Buddies,

    new to fedora core linux. i have some problems with fedore while running java applications.while running java and javac commands i am getting following error---
    Error occurred during initialization of VM
    java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object

    Any one can give me the solutions please....

    ARe you using Sun Java or libgcj (check by entering "java -version" in the command line). If you are using libgcj, I recommend, you use Sun java.
