I am using Spamassssin 2.63 on Fedora with sendmail and I am calling SA in procmail wth:

:0fw
| /usr/bin/spamc

I have tried starting spamd several different ways, from the "Service Configuration" in the Gnome GUI, on the command line as "spamd -c", "spamd -c -u mail" plus many other ways and it never creates the user_prefs files in the individual user directories. I even tried creating some on my own but it won't use them.

Does anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong? Everything else is working perfectly. I am using clamav to filter out viruses. I have installed Razor and that is working with it.

I feel like if I can just get this one little thing working right then life will be perfect
