RPM files are normally installed by typing "rpm -Uvh VMware-server-1.0.1-29996.i386.rpm"

The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] /usr/src/linux/

This is a guess, but it looks like you don't have the source files for the linux kernel installed, and the VMWare installer needs them for it to work. You should be able to install these from your fedora installation disc.
Unfortunately I haven't used fedora in a year or two, so I can't be of much help with this. Apologies.Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880
