    Wine and GoldMine: please help

    Hi,

I am using Fedora Core 6. The version number of my kernel is 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6xen #1 SMP and the version number of my copy of Wine is wine-0.9.31. In winecfg I have set Windows Version to Windows 98. Everything else is exactly as the original setup via yum.

I am trying to install a CRM prrogramme called GoldMine in Wine. The GoldMine web site at this site says that GoldMine is known to run under Wine, but the installation won't proceed. I get the following errors:

    Code:
    [roy@localhost pocdev]$ wine "GM v6.7 Setup.exe"
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b

    err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"ISStartup" returned 1603
    [roy@localhost pocdev]$
The problem is that I don't know what these errors indicate. It seems that missing DLLs are not the problem. Nor could the version of Windows be the problem, since I get the exact errors with Windows 2000. So I don't know where to start my troubleshooting.

Can anyone please tell me what kinds of errors are these, and what I can do, or where I can look, to resolve these errors?

Thanks in advance for your help.

wine-0.9.31 has known probles with installers

You should either wait for 0.9.32, or back down to 0.9.30.
See http://winehq.org/site/download for where to get 0.9.30, perhaps.
