    PDF "splicer"

    I'd try PDFedit, Pdftk, or PDFjam. All of them can join files, but I'm not sure about creating indexes.

    pdfedit works great for joining files etc but I don't think it will let me create bookmarks. Does anyone know if it is possible to insert bookmarks into a pdf file?
