Favorite ad-filtering app
So far I have been using Privproxy 3 and wery happy. I often read a tech site, wich seemd flooded with ads (nearly so much its unreadable) and popups, but privproxy filters them away. I have also read about adzapper, but never tried it.

I just have mozilla set to not open any popups and don't have any problems.

I totally agree with genlee - that's a great feature in mozilla, not to mention tabbed browsing!
