I am running Fedora Core 4 and trying to use Music Player to play back some music I imported from (legitimate) CDROMs. When I select a track to play, by double-clicking or by single-clicking and selecting the 'start playing' button I get the errors 'could not pause playback' and 'ALSA device "default" had an error ' one after the other. This happens all the time. My sound card is fine (i tested it when i installed Fedora).

Could someone shed some light on the matter. What are the possible problems here?
