Help me Cap Bandwidth!
Hello,
I run a small VSFTPD server for my friends and family to share home videos and pictures. Everything has been running great just people download stuff off it all day is really killing my bandwidth (DSL 3000kbps/1000kpbs). The server is running Ubuntu 6.10. I know that VSFTPD has a bandwidth cap on it but this also affects upload and download for my server. Is there any applications that can cap only my outgoing bandwidth for FTP to 50 - 75Kbps? Is there anyway to do this through my router?(Linksys WRT45Gs running DD-WRT Micro) Thanks in Advance for any help!

I haven't used it myself, but HTB-Tools might neet your needs.
