I was surprised to find nothing about uninstalling fonts in previous posts and various manuals,
including the _OpenOffice 2.0 Writer Guide._

I want to get rid of most of the TTF fonts that load
automatically when I fire up Writer, since more than half seem to be for
Indian and other languages that I don't read. SPADMIN will only uninstall fonts that the user has installed. I have tried manually deleting the font files, but that leaves a blank line in the OO Writer font menu, so it remains just as cumbersome to select the wanted font.

There must be some way to do it.
