    Mplayer Problem

    mplayer loads abd plays movies correctly..but the drag button is not working ..I cannot seek into any part of the movie..[]
    wat may be the cause of the problem?

    I've encountered a similiar problem twice, and both back in the days when I was using Windows. The first time was because I didn't have a proper codec installed. The second time was because I was accessing some kind of protected media file.

    I think you need a codec. I think you can get the latest from mplayer's website.

    but when I disable xgl everything works fine..
