Movies with Mplayer
I can't get mpeg's, avi's, mov's, or any other videos to work using Mplayer. There is a popup that tells me "Error opening/initializing the slected video_out(-vo) device," and in the terminal I get a message that says:
I run xvinfo, and get the following message:Code:It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available. Run 'xvinfo' to verify its Xv support and read DOCS/HTML/en/devices.html#xv! See 'mplayer -vo help' for other (non-xv) video out drivers. Try -vo x11
I'm not sure how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Code:[root@localhost root]# xvinfo X-Video Extension version 2.2 screen #0 no adaptors present
