    Recording music from AVI video?


    I have an AVI with a cool song in it I'd like to record into whatever format.

    Sound recorder does not work.

    I am watching this movie in TLC.

    Ideas ?

    you could probably try audacity.

    Code:
    mplayer file.avi -ao pcm somefile.wav
    You can then reencode the soundtrack if needs be. The wav could be quite large.
