openssl related questions

Hi all

I have recently setup an openssl Certificate authority and started rolling out signed certs to my devices. as you can imagine if this gets above 10 or so its time to start automating as much as possible. i ran accross open SCEP and as most of the devices can use this protocol i'm investigating it as an option for automatic key renewals and exchanges for vpns.

unfortunately they're is minimal documentation on the state of the open SCEP project on its website and im not sure if any development is on going and how well it integrates with open SSL

does anyone have any experience with this? or could point me in the right direction?
