My server is running SuSE 9.1 and I have Sendmail 8.12.10 installed on it. About 2 or 3 times in the last week I noticed that the server was running really slow and that it would sometimes take me up to 5 or 10 minutes to ssh into it. When I did get in and I ran top, there was a process called "barbut" that was running under the user mailman.

Does anyone know what this process is or where I can find information on it? I have tried google and a few other search engines but nothing seems to come up that can help.
