Fedora Core 2 - No Sound After Kernel Upgrade
Fedora installation went fine and had sound under 2.6.5-1.358, (although could not play CD's,) until upgraded to 2.6.6-1.435. Now, no sounds at all. Soundcard detection continues to play when I boot to the old kernel, but not in the new, even though both recognize my sound card. I've checked for 'mute' settings, both in the GUI and in command line - all appear fine.
I'd appreciate any help you could give an old newbie.

All Now Fixed
For some reason, after the third re-boot, Fedora has corrected itself and now plays all sounds. CD's now play as well, but that was MY fault - had put it in the burner, while my card is cabled to the CD-ROM.
