this is what I did: downloaded it put it in home i did cd pidgin-2.1.0 then ./configure and it did all of it.. ...

I have a problem compiling pidgin souce.
this is what I did: downloaded it put it in home i did cd pidgin-2.1.0 then ./configure and it did all of it.. Then I tried make and it didnt work
Sorry, I am new to linux, I am using Fedora 7. can someone give me a little tut on how to do it? thanks
