aMSN will not compile
my problem is that i download the amsn-0.95.tar.gz file.
i then extract it using tar -xvzf amsn-0.95.tar.gz
i then change directory into the newly created amsn-0.98 directory and run ./configure to make the make file. and this is what happens
but tcl and tk is installed in /usr/share/tcl8.4 and tk is installed in /usr/share/tk8.4

Make sure you have tcl-dev installed, not just tcl.
i installed tcl-dev and it still won't compile. any other options that i can do??
Well, you could specify manualy the directory in which "tcl8.4-dev" is installed:
Have you read the aMSN wiki and the installation instructions?
