Eyc candy for RHEL 5
Hi, For the past 1 yr i have been trying my hands on the beryl or compiz, to get
the eyecandy rolling things. But no success till now. previously the system was low in specs. Now i dont know how to do it exactly. I am sure a lot of you have done it . I want to show my friend (i am from India and Xp is in the air here) that what exactly linux is capable of. Can anyone tell me how can i configure or install beryl or compiz fusion on my rhel 5
My system current stats are in my signature.
notice the word enterprise in red hat enterprise linux? that means it's for businesses primarily. this is why you aren't seeing a lot of eye candy all over the place. fedora is the desktop os from red hat inc. try fedora. you will find it is much more along the lines of what you are looking for, not to mention free.
OK "Proprietarysucks "
thanks anyways actually i am doing RHCE so thought like it would have fun to work with beryl on RHEL5
