fonts of adobe reader
hi i am using adobe reader for linux when trying to open the file form the following address: "http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~ee130/sp06/chp5.pdf" it is giving the following error
cannot extract the embedded font 'CJMDP+TIMESNEWROMAN'.
so what is the problem how can i find this font and where to put it thanks in advance
The error is because there is some problem within the file, probably. How to solve it, well, it depends.

I don't know if there's a way that the Acrobat viewer could substitute a font that is supposed to be embedded on the document itself by a external equivalent (or the same) font.
To use any ttf font, though, you can just put it into ~/.fonts/, but I highly doubt that that will help with Acrobat.
