Those are just speakers, aren't they? Linux doesn't have anything with them to do. If your sound card is working, they'll work, too.
I have no idea about the surround sound, though. I guess the OSS drivers have support for it, if the sound card has, but I don't know of any applications that actually uses surround sound, though. Probably DVD players and such do.
yah, they come with some type of drivers for windows. :o
The speakers?! But isn't that kind of impossible? It's not like they can be controlled via the audio cord. Do you plug them in via USB, too, or something?
back of the soundcard :D I like SS for rtcw
SS? rtcw? I'm sorry for not associating. Sometimes I just don't do that. Maybe it's just that I'm from Sweden...
What soundcard do you have? What kind of weird plugs are in it? Are you _actually_ trying to say that you have windows drivers for your _speakers_?! I'm really confused here! Unless those drivers are just some utilities for making the sound better on those speakers (like some freqency remapping, equalization or some other weird trick), they've made something really curious (like sending encoded control messages on special frequencies or stuff, but really, come on...)
soundblaster live! the 4.1. i think it some type of controls. i am looking into getting them. I <3 unreal tournny 2003 too with nice sound :) If i got them i would buy the live! 5.1, i dont think there is any support for the audigy cards. i checked over mandrakes site for it, and nothing came up.
