im getting this message:
but heres the thing i have already changed the premissions from /home to /mail so it should be working. Whats going on?Code:KMail could not create folder '$HOME/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail';
please make sure that you can view and modify the content of the folder '/home/weird'.

That's really strange.. the permissions are just fine.
heres an update:
the probelm must lie in the folder : /home/weird/.kde/share/config because when i rename it i can start up kmail , but i lose the settings (but not the emails). does anyone know what file(s) are causeing the problem (im pretty sure its not a file permission problem at this point)
