MPlayer can be used to view virtually any type of movie or sound file, including but not limited to DiVX, QuickTime, RealPlayer, DVD and MPEG.
DirectX isn't something that can be "viewed". It's a MS API for rendering graphics or playing sounds. If you're referring to playing Windows games on Linux, you can't. You can try to emulate them using wine, though.
thanks alot for your reply, but now i remember what i want, it was viewing director not directx, do you know an application to do that??
Director? Are you referring to that old interactive media format invented by Apple?
yes!!
In that case, I can't help you. I've got no idea how that works.
Id there a possibility that you could be rfering to Macromedia director? If, so... try codeweavers wine out.http://www.codeweavers.com
