need a browser for console

During the gentoo installation i could get online with the prog "links"

but after installing gentoo this doesn't work anymore.
is there another program to surf online?

you have to install links, links2, or lynx (those are the three most well-known text browsers)... it's this easy:

emerge <packagename>

that will build the deps and the package. if you want to see what USE flags are available, use this before emerging the package:

emerge -vp <packagename>

---

that will list the deps and the USE flags for all of the packages it needs to install

If you have framebuffer set up emerge w3m, it supports images :D
