Problem with mplayer
I have got some problems with my mplayer.
So when I'm trying to start it, there is error like this:
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Ok. So I installed openldap-2.3.38, but there was another problem.

Where should I look for BerkeleyDB? And which version of this I need?
Maybe you know another way to solve it.
Please help me, because I'm still learning about Linux.

Hi zajka and welcome to the forum. How we set about solving the problem might depend a lot on what distro you are running. :)
So It's Slackware

Unless this is just a dependency problem you are wanting to figure out, the mplayer packages from Linuxpackages work perfectly in Slackware 12.
If you aren't running Slackware 12, mplayer for the other versions of Slackware are there too. In case you don't know, you'll also need the Mplayer codecs to get everything working...
Let me know how you come out. :)
Yes, yes, yes :)
Now It's great, but...I still don't know how to play film with subtitles.
Maybe it's easy to do that but I don't know
