Video Media player issuses
On windows XP, I used media player classic to view video media. This is one of the best players i have come accross and allows easy viewing of external subtitles etc..
I have since moved to linux and have noticed that with kaffine the sound tends to go out of sync. I have also tried mplayer which seems much better, but whenever i select full screen, the video size stays exactly as it is and all i get is the rest of the screen filled with black.
So my question is, which is the most powerful media player for linux? Where do i get the equivillent of Xvid, Divx, AC3, ogg codecs? How can i play back external subtitles with my video fils?
