video messaging utility?

Anything out there that would allow me to communicate (video,sound) with MSN?

I havent heard even the most advanced linux msn clients do that sorry, you might want to check out http://www.skype.com/ which is another messanger for both Win and Lin, which has at least voice messaging.

Check out GnomeMeeting. It should be what you need: a video confrencing application that can communicate with Microsoft Netmeeting. http://www.gnomemeeting.org/
