I have installed vsftpd on my server, but when I try to download something Filezilla doesn't receive anything from the server after few minutes of downloading and filezilla fail reason is timeout, what can the problem be?
All firewall and security programs are disabled...
do u mean upload? or are u really trying to d/l from the vsftpd server?
try to connect locally first. in term:
also check logs:
have u made sure that vsftpd is running?
is selinux enabled?
I can connect correctly to localhost. Logs doesn't contain anything useful.

ok, what about using a command line ftp client from the remote machine. does that make a diff? is it large files only?
