X on an ARM
I have an InHand Fingertip3 computer using the Intel XScalePA255 chip. It has linux installed, kernel 2.4.19. I have the option of using the pre-packaged Qtopia/QT/E, but I want to use X so I can develop with GTK+.
Does anyone know how to cross compile and put X onto this thing (using the ARM cc tools)? I've read all the tutorials about doing this on an iPaq, but no help.
I'd prefer to use TinyX and avoid using microwindows
thanks

this might be of use to you www.openpsion.org
they are a project devoted to putting linux on a handheld ARM computer. they also have X11 as part of 1 of their distros. how you will find the x server for your machine i don't know.
