xterm font warnings when opening xterm from another terminal: xterm or gnome-terminal

I get these warnings:

...when I open xterm from within a terminal (xterm and gnome-terminal are the ones i've tried). How would I fix this or atleast suppress the warning messages?

I'm using Xorg 7.0 on ArchLinux
