No kernel?

Hey guys, I'm trying to install archlinux 64bit. But there is no option to install the kernel? I see the kernel in the package area, kernel 2. something....
I installed it like this, but I cant startx when I type it in I get a simple error.

here is a ss after installing the packages, theres something wrong with the kernel?



Here is what I mean by no kernel in the option menu:
gr1mo is offline
